Hi, took the nclex pn and stopped at 85 with 26 SATA. I tried the Pearson vue trick and got the good pop up. Does the trick work? Anyone else get this and pass? This is my third time taking it!! I'm so scared I didn't pass again, but have a bit of hope since I've never received the good pop up. I'm in Cali so it takes awhile to get results.

I let myself be upset for a couple of days but then got down to business. I did the 3 week NCSBN review then did a live Hurst Review 3 weeks before my test.

The PVT is not 100% accurate. There have been some reports of getting a “bad pop-up” or “false result”. However, it is a fairly good indicator to what a student’s result actually is. In my experience, the trick worked for everyone from my nursing school who tried it.

The "hold" message comes up whenever an exam is under review because of a problem, either a palm scan that didn't take, speed of exam, or something truly obvious in your case, a power outage. Seems like the power outage would put all the exams taken in 'hold' status and that is the message you got, not a 'good pop up'. The NCLEX trick is not 100% accurate. Some students have reported getting “a bad pop-up” when they passed and getting “the good pop-up” when they failed.
